Me and my girlfriend, during our journey around Scotland, have been in Tornhill last spring, visiting a friend of us. Tornhill is one of the quietest place on the earth, and truly scottish. With the owner, Margaret, we felt more than at home. She is hearty and lovely. Her place is the typical dream house, and our room was coozy and quite. Had a great stay with Margaret and John. Room was really clean and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. It would set you up for the day. Definitely the best breakfast in thornhill. The location was brilliant with lots to see and do in the area. Very reasonably priced aswel. Would definitely recommend and if I am back in the area I will definitely return.
