“We stopped here on the off chance on the way through Braemar. Whilst busy we were shown to a table where we could wait in comfort until a table was available. Once seated we were served by a very attentive member of staff who was lovely. The meal itself was superb, the Venison burger was delicious and if you’re having the haddock go for the normal unless your a big eater (the large was hanging over the plate!) On the subject of the fish, it was perhaps the nicest I’ve had in many years, soft and flaky with crisp thin batter. Amazing. The tiniest gripe (and very minor) would be the Scottish Rarebit needed the toast much crisper. That said it was delicious!!!”
