Great spot for a reasonably priced lunch. Wonderful decor and even better service. I had the Haggis, Neeps and Tatties and my wife had the fish and chips. Both were delicious. Dont be afraid of the Haggis; it's delicious!
Went to this pub for Hogmanay. Having travelled many thousands of kilometres to get there, the experience, sadly, fell short of expectations. The pub, while warm and reasonably well appointed, seemed a little forced, almost formula if that is the right word. There was a clear demarcation (at least that was the vibe) between regular patrons and the rich guests at a function in another part of the pub. Stopped in for a pint after visiting Balmoral... Absolutely amazing village, hotel and pub. The staff were so friendly and recommended a good ale.. the building is fantastic, definitely on our to do again list...Enjoyed a great walk through the village too.
