Invercauld Rd, BraemarGreat little cafe. The scones are soft and light, and sandwiches were freshly made with generous salad and crisps. Soup was lovely and creamy. Great place to refule before exploring the beautiful village.

Mar Rd, Braemar, BallaterIf you like Whisky you have to visit here at least once in your life.When we arrived we thought it would be closed due to staff sickness but Andrew stepped up and made it an unreal night of whisky tasting. He was really passionate about the Whisky and made the night an unforgettable experience with his knowledge and effort. What a legend.The Whisky on offer is sensational, presented perfectly with a dram for everyone's taste and budget.Visit here YOLO!!!

The Drawing Room
Mar Rd, Braemar, BallaterLucky us; we had a few hours here so we relaxed in the historic, cosy, yet regal Fife Arms. Our mid-day dinner was in the snug of the Flying Stag.Amazing surroundings and the service and food are tops. All staff are professional and helpful throughout the property. Make time to stay a night or two as we will do soon. Our one beautiful afternoon just was not enough.

Mar Rd, Braemar, BallaterStopped in for a pint after visiting Balmoral... Absolutely amazing village, hotel and pub. The staff were so friendly and recommended a good ale.. the building is fantastic, definitely on our to do again list...Enjoyed a great walk through the village too.
