First time visiting the Dartmouth arms, nice looking traditional countryside pub. Good/Decent pint of Madri served. Friendly staff. Good traditional Sunday dinners served and plates were cleared in good time. Considering I had just come off a night shift and normally abit grumpy, it was a very welcoming atmosphere, good food, good beer, me my better half and another couple/friends were left very full and satisfied. Honestly phenomenal food. Took us by surprise as we stumbled upon the place by accident on a random drive this evening. Highly recommended! I’m going back to try the surf and turf next week, the Cajun chicken burger and linguine we had today was so good. We even tried the mackerel pate, I’m not usually fan of fish but this was incredibly moreish.

Beautiful food in beautiful surroundings. They didn't have a kids menu but accommodated by allowing them to share. Polite staff, great Sunday dinner and a lovely roaring fire. Just what we needed after a long chilly walk.Kid-friendliness: Some boardgames wouldn't go a miss.
