Arrived at 1100 am on a Sunday wanting a full English , told l couldn't have one as they were closing at 12! Was then offered the most ghastly sausage and egg sandwich l have ever had in my life and told to make my own instant coffee. I wish l had ignored the glowing reviews and not used the satnav to find somewhere which is basically in the middle of nowhere Avoid!

Called in earlier today as part of a walking group for an especially arranged late brunch aka full English at 1pm. Smashing food served by lovely people in a lovely setting. Very reasonably priced too. Clean and welcoming; recommended.

Went there today, as we saw the signs when out cycling. Beautiful spot, and great little cafe. Will definitely stop again should we be passing.Parking: Plenty of parking

We dropped in to the Country Kitchen Cafe to get something quick to eat and a hot drink on our way to meet family and friends who were fishing. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent and fantastic value for money.Apparently they also offer afternoon tea; we'll definitely consider this next time we're in the area.
