First & last visit to Kum Tong, chicken curry was bland, worse was the chinese roast chicken on bean sprouts, the most disgusting meal I have ever seen one mouthful then in the bin, waste of the £19.50 we paid.

Have used this take away since it opened, but maybe only couple of times per year now when visiting a relative. Just dropped in for a meal to take back to Telford, and it was amazing. Cooked to order in 10 minutes (sometimes a little longer later at night), taste is so wonderful, and ingredients used must be top notch. Thank you to all the staff.

Having used kum tong all of my life I am quite upset by our latest meal, it's been lacking in quality gradually since the previous owners retired but this meal was so bad couldn't eat it so went it the bin.Sweet and sour sauce was runny, almost florescent red and tasted mosty of sugar, chop suey on the other hand tasted of absolutely nothing resembling boiled noodles in oily water, chicken balls were really tough in the middle, didn't even attempt the spring roll so can't comment on that.My daughters dish seemed like nothing had been washed before preparation as she found dirt on the mushrooms, a thorn was sticking out of one of them, prawns had like a jelly substance on them, almost like the jelly they are sometimes packaged in.Very disheartened as this used to be my favourite Chinese takeaway, looks like it might be time to move on, should have chucked the cash straight in the bin.

By far, THE BEST CHINESE I HAVE EVER EATEN. Everything is so fresh and tastes so healthy which is so nice. Nothing worse than feeling sluggish after a Chinese but these guys never let us down. Can't wait to order tonight ? xx

Food is completely bland pretty sure there is spam in the special fried rice and only about 6 peas. The order was over the phone with an apparent 25min wait I got to the takeaway and had to wait another 40 minutes on top of the 25 minutes.Definitely won’t be back.

We used to live in the area and would come here every week. After 20 years we were visiting old friends and came for a takeaway for old times sake. It is still the best Chinese takeaway by far and we’ve tried a few. The barbecue ribs are as delicious as ever.

We ordered 2x curry and chips with one rice. Sadly when we got back to our camper van and opened the packets we found we had three lots of rice and no chips.maybe we were naive not to check the order in the shop but this is a bit of a luxury for us and we were so looking forward to what we ordered. The curry was one dimensional being chicken , onions and sauce. A waste of both time and money.I hate dissing people but can only speak as we find.

Fantastic takeaway, food was really tasty and fresh, a lot nicer than some other takeaways I have used.
