The best pub/hotel in the town. Old traditional inn not the poshest place but great value for money. The pub is busy and has a great atmosphere and the staff are all polite and rooms go for 45 pounds per person with the breakfast included which is all you can have breakfast buffet all for just 10 pounds which u can have off the price of the room if you don’t want the breakfast. Been a while since been in. Beer is always well kept especially the Bathams. Very welcoming which surprised me. Turns out it is under new management. The previous gaffer always liked to serve his builder mates before others. Much better pub now.
