“Staying overnight in Ludlow & tried to book into a local pub/restaurant which was fully booked. So booked into The Corner House & so glad we did. Amazing food & excellent service. Tempura prawns to start with a lovely light batter. The Steak was cooked to perfection with delicious home made chips. My husband had the rack of lamb, again cooked superbly. Just had to say thank you to the chef as he finished for the day. Definitely Don't walk past this little gem of a restaurant.”

“I was one of the musicians who played at October's "First Thursday" event, from the duo "The Whiskey River Boys". We were treated with courtesy and respect from the moment we arrived, the stage was all set with a very nice in-house PA so all we had to do was "plug in and play". The staff really looked after us, the acoustics were terrific and the clientele very warm and friendly. I can't wait to go back.”

“Very cute! Tea was delicious and I loved all of the different tea cups and tea pots. My roast beef sandwich was okay but I think I just don’t like English sandwiches very much because I found this throughout the country not just here. The lemon cake I had was very yummy. They are definitely not designed to have you take things to go but they made an effort to find things for us to put our food in. Plan to stay and eat your food and drink your tea.”

“Lovely setting, brilliant menu, lovely front of house staff. Only thing was my food was cold so asked for it to be warmed up, chef looked proper annoyed and redid the whole thing and it was still cold, I wasnt saying anything again. Would still ho back, just wouldn't order the eggs Benedict again.”
