Went to this pub as it had good reviews and wanted to go to 'the oldest pub in Ludlow', but won't be in a rush to return.Really disappointing lunch experience. Menu is very expensive for the quality you get. I had the Rose & Crown burger - it was over done, dry & about a cm thickness (less than a quarter pounder burger in tesco). The bacon in there was cremated. This was not worth half of the £17 cost!!My wife had the brie & cranberry toastie, which was also disappointing - cheap, sliced white bread. Also not worth the price at £9.The kids enjoyed their meals & my beer was good, but they didn't drink their squash as it was horrible. Will not be returning for food.

Dog friendly, lovely food and good service. Would definitely recommend this quirky pub.
Menu was somewhat sparce, but what we were able to order was very good.
Dreadful.
Nice food and reasonably priced with a decent pint of Slumbering Monk. One of my favourite pubs. Only Joules owned pub in Ludlow I
Lovely pub with freindly staff and the best roast dinner I think I've ever had.
