Disappointed, fish was average but the chips were shocking. Undercooked and white. It's not the cheapest, so won't be visiting again

Very disappointed with chips today, anaemic and soggy. Got them home and were all squashed together. Fish was ok. This is the second time in a row where we have felt ripped off.

We called in the afternoon and ordered 2 chicken tikka with salad and chips to take away, costing nearly £18.00. When we got home (about 8-10mins) we found both the chicken and chips as dry as a bone. They must have been kept a long time on/in their Ranges. The staff should know not to serve food that is of a poor standard. Customers deserve better, I will not be going again.

This is one of the best, if not the best fish and chip restaurant I have visited in different parts of the country. The staff are very friendly and there today I had large cod and chips with curry sauce. It was perfect. The quantity of chips was correct for eating and not just for filling the plate and the cod was cooked perfectly. It flaked apart just as it should if cooked properly. Too much cod is overcooked to the point of becoming fibrous rather than flaky. I could go on but would just finally say "If you don't go there you're missing a treat. For those who have other preferences, pizzas etc. are also available along with numerous drinks.

The food is amazing but the speed can be sluggish and the atmosphere leaves alot to be desired. I feel it has lost it homely feel for truckers and motorists and having been coming to this place well before these owners had it can see a massive difference from when they started and now. A shame as it just feels like chip shop and not somewhere to sit and eat anymore.

Stopped week b4 Christmas had a takeaway fish \\u0026 chips with a side of fried chicken eat on the go, then I saw the chicken, mouldy chicken

Stopped here for a break and was pleasantly surprised they have a little shop toilets and a fish and chip shop the prices were reasonable and the food was good. They also have a dining area and a licenced bar.

I enjoy it when I need a break and stop my lorry near this chippy. I think they used to cook the fish to order which meant a little wait and a really nice fish but recently when I went the fish was kept warm in the cabinet so it was more like chicken than fish.\\n\\nGreat range of food here too. Pizzas and kebabs. Plus, a convenience store with sweets, chocolate and useful items.

Came about this place randomly, I saw Fish & Chips on Google Maps while on way home from a day out and I was starving! This place has Amazing Chips aswell as a massive menu of other things, Fish, Pies, Pasties, Pizza and more with Box Set Meals too, It also has a shop stocked with all your convenience need stocked high from bog roll, milk, bread, to beer, There is also a small bar at the back and a small restaurant at the front.

What a little gem this is! A great place to stop for something to eat with toilets available at the entrance for those who need a quick stop. There is a shop, takeaway and restaurant. The food is cooked fresh and very tasty! It's also very reasonably priced. There is a selection of pizzas, fish and chips, burgers, kebabs and more! This is also a truck stop with plenty of room for both cars and lorries to park. Staff were amazing.
