This is one of the best, if not the best fish and chip restaurant I have visited in different parts of the country. The staff are very friendly and there today I had large cod and chips with curry sauce. It was perfect. The quantity of chips was correct for eating and not just for filling the plate and the cod was cooked perfectly. It flaked apart just as it should if cooked properly. Stopped here for a break and was pleasantly surprised they have a little shop toilets and a fish and chip shop the prices were reasonable and the food was good. They also have a dining area and a licenced bar.

I enjoy it when I need a break and stop my lorry near this chippy. I think they used to cook the fish to order which meant a little wait and a really nice fish but recently when I went the fish was kept warm in the cabinet so it was more like chicken than fish.\\n\\nGreat range of food here too. Pizzas and kebabs. Plus, a convenience store with sweets, chocolate and useful items.
