The place has undergone a major refurb which took a bit of getting used to compared with how it was previously - quite open plan now.Meanwhile Sunday lunch was plentiful, reasonably priced, and served with a smile. Apple pie dessert was very nice indeed! Could maybe do with another ale or two.Vegetarian options: Nut roast was good
Went as a family of 7 and reading some reviews wasn't sure what to expect. As it turned out it was great, lovely food and a really good atmosphere. Would certainly go more often but unfortunately we live too far away. Absolutely fantastic chips, real not frozen

I want to give this place 5 stars but I can’t. The surroundings and the staff were lovely. It’s been decorated really nicely with lovely wood burning stove.However, the food wasn’t great - the roast was very overcooked. Most importantly though there was no vegetarian option! In 2024 this isn’t ok.Vegetarian options: None (on Sunday at least)Wheelchair accessibility: Good wheelchair access but parking is large gravel so many be difficult with some wheelchairs
