Good food. Best place for eating that I found while staying in the area. Dog friendly, even in the dining room.The other bar got rather busy with locals later in the evening.Parking: Parking area out front, more round the back.
Popped in here on the way back to our holiday cottage from Much Wenlock (nowhere open!?) It was a nasty rainy day and there were 3 of us and 2 damp dogs and the pub couldn't have been more welcoming with its lovely open log fire and its equally welcoming owners. . We all had meat pie and chips/mash and peas and all quoffed down with a lovely pint of Pig orchard cider. Popped in for Sunday lunch been past this pub many many times. Landlady was very friendly as was the staff food was excellent. How have we missed this little gem!! Definitely be back again soon ?
