Booked in late on Sat 16th as we were having a long weekend in Shrewsbury with friends & fancied a nice meal out , I can honestly say this is one of the best meals I’ve had for a long , long time , The service & the attention to detail from fin & David & his staff was absolutely superb , couldn’t reccomend the place highly enough , outstanding ?
A well located pub near to Shrewsbury. The food was good and I selected a special food deal. Others in the 14; strong dinning group choose off the main menu. Some of the staff however appeared to find us an inconvenience . I know that it was at the end of possibly, a long shift but the general manner was abrupt. Sadly the service did not reflect the expectations we had for our night out☹️

Great food and wide, varied menu. Something for everyone. Electric menu and food pairings. The sea bass risotto was stunning. Pub classics with a mix of elevated dishes. Really enjoyed our food and the service was great. Sian our waitress was bubbly and fun and very attentive. The surrounds are breathtaking the gardens and river view are not to be missed. Would definitely recommend.
