“A fantastic pub in Shrewsbury. Really cosy (like a lot of Joules pubs), with a great selection of drinks. The food tastes like proper home cooked meals, (especially the chips) extremely tasty and huge portions. Amazing value for what you get. Tried various meals here and all have been brilliant. Service is quick and staff are really welcoming. Highly recommend you visit this pub if in Shrewsbury.”

“I had the pleasure of eating lunch at the Windmill Inn today. I opted for "Today's Special" a seafood pasta, which featured very generously sized prawns and a gorgeous white wine sauce. The flavours were superb. The charming Country Inn atmosphere added to the overall appeal, making it a memorable visit, thank you. I would definitely recommend the Windmill Inn for a superb meal.”

“Really nice proper pub, we were just passing through Shrewsbury and planned to stop for food but got caught up in some horrible Friday evening traffic and stumbled across the pub. The chap behind the bar kindly found some space for us and our 2 ravenous children, we had some really delicious American style deli sandwiches, filled with meats so they were good value!I could have quite happily stayed for a few pints here but unfortunately the road called.”
