The new fuel station is terrible now its unmanned. The machines will take up to £120 put of your account, even if you fill a Jerry can like i did with less than a tenner, it's goodbye for the rest for the weekend, you might see it Monday if you're lucky but they can keep it for 5 days. Most machines refunded straight away, but not asda. Seems worse if you use contactless

Few years ago a crack head or junkie followed me round the place hurling abuse at me which was one thing but then her clearly junkie girlfriend started threatening my two year old yes you read that right my two year old, and I was heavily pregnant at the time so felt quite scared and vulnerable. My crime was complaining that they were blocking the aisle and generally being inconsiderate, so I asked them to move. Abuse commenced.Security did nothing much other than tell me they had their own version of the story from them (how they spun "we threatened a pregnant woman and her toddler" into something that favoured them I have no idea) I called the police but they got wind and left.Security didn't try to stop them.It was a long time before I felt safe to go there again. True story.I like to keep things light in my reviews generally but I think Security need to improve here.I would say in the stores defence I've been around I dunno 100 times over the years, never had trouble like that before or since. There is nothing wrong with the supermarket as long as you're not expecting Waitrose or M&S quality. It's ASDA you know what your getting.

I had a terrible experience at ASDA supermarket. I was meant to buy four meal deals/to-go meals, and it took me more than 20 minutes to pick my meals because I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what the store's offer was. There wasn’t any signage anywhere to describe the offer and the terms of conditions. That aside, I then went around fishing for cutlery because I had bought two meals requiring chopsticks/forks. It turns out the store doesn’t provide any cutlery after speaking to three staff members and being directed to 3 different places. The in-store Costa was my saving grace. I ended up buying a bottle of water there and asking for forks, which were kindly given to me. Thanks, Costa staff members. It is absolutely frustrating to have experienced this unorganised environment.

Absolutely shocking service, my complaint was due to a just eat order but it won’t let me review that one so here I am. I ordered some things tonight as I needed milk for my baby for bed, knocked a full bottle over at home so i had non, so yes it was an emergency, I added more things to bulk the order up so they wasn’t just delivering 2 milks, ended up spending £20 on stuff, waited a whole hour for it to then say that they had cancelled my order. No explanation or nothing. So now my daughter is out of milk, I have to wait however many days for my refund and I’ll have to pay for delivery from somewhere else & wait an hour for it to arrive. Thanks Asda ??

Told a employee about out of date item on shelf she just looked at me and carried on with what she was doing.I find items have short sell by dates ,shelves missing products. On occasion employees talking amongst themselves getting in the way of shoppers.

The prices are not updated regularly.Look at this example - Nivea After Sun Lotion (when it’s not even summer) is £13 ??‍♂️?? RRP = literally £5.50 everywhere else. That’s not even funny, it’s a robbery is broad daylight

Appalling service ordered 6 bottles of wine when I went collect only 4 . There was a substitute bottle which I declined. As going overseas I asked for bubble wrap or plastic got nothing. Spoke to Spencer who was rude arrogant who told me to go buy packaging Said I wasn't supposed to put notes like that . Im now battling the charge as they charged me £36.50 . They told me to take back the substitute bottle which I havent even got . Pathetic woeful service its a shambles .

Always service with a smile from the staff, but the car park is always chaotic, it might benefit from a new system.

Lack of staff on tills every weekday morning so everybody is stacked back down the Isles in a queue you end up spending more time waiting to be served than it takes to collect your shopping.

Asda, its very simply, I just want to spend my hard earnt cash with you, and take advantage of your great 25% off wines offer and stock up for Xmas.Unfortunately, the guy that stacks the shelves in the alcohol department at the Donnington branch is off sick, and according to management, nobody else is spare to replace him, resulting in a lack of available wine being placed on the shelves.Asda please get your act together, it's been 3 weeks now, and each week the shelves are just empty.

Disgraceful behaviour from a middle aged, short blonde lady that was working at the customer service desk/tobacco kiosk today when my wife asked for information about the products for sale. This member of staff raised here voice and informed my wife that "She does not smoke, that it is not her job to provide information about the tobacco products for sale and that she does not have to". The lady turned her back on my wife with arms crossed. My son observed this lady's behaviour and described the look of shock on the faces of the other customers queuing. My wife returned home in tears at the treatment she received. I have registered my complaint with Asda - case #231124005651 and I have spoken to one of the store managers Matt. I will not be returning to this store, which is a shame because many of the staff there are lovely and very helpful.

You don’t expect to get attacked when you go shopping after a busy 12 hour shift at work. I was physically assaulted at the pharmacy on 14/11/23 by a very angry man in the queue. I was so shocked I didn’t finish my shopping and just paid and left. I will never be going back to this store again.

Pizza counter is hardly open on a Friday night or a Saturday … used to go regular. And every time we have been at 5pm or 6pm it’s closed so we end up going to Morrisons because they are open later. Disappointing really and the pizza counter staff are rude and look like they do not care.

Oh dear yet again this store has gone from being great to poor. Made an online purchase last night the purchase did not link to my rewards app so the £10 credit I should have received wasn't added and I therefore would need to go into the store to sortThen this morning the beer I ordered was substituted to another I don't like, so cancelled the whole order with a phone call 3 hours later still no notification of order being cancelled and refund process being started. So then I go into the store as I still needed some the original order, to my surprise the beer was in stock only problem was that it was right at the back of a low shelf and awkward to reach! So whoever picked order 5152389001054 needs to be told to do their job properly!I have been going to this store for nearly 13 years most of the 'old staff' are still great but I find the pickers particularly rude blocking the aisles and not helpful. Stock levels are getting worse, good job I live 5 minutes away by car as I can pop in for the items I can't get another day. Pointless going in after 3pm as nothing on shelves. I go here for the rewards and convenience, if there was a nearer competitor nearby I would shop there, so yes you still have my loyal custom however maybe not for much longer!I use the petrol station and kiosk too for lottery my average monthly spend is in excess of £500 maybe with coming of a New Year then change my shopping habits!!
