Dining at this restaurant was an absolute pleasure! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting, and the service was impeccable.

Very nice restaurant with friendly staff. Food is cheap but not so good.

Good grief. I thought this type restaurant died out 30 years ago. If you ever wanted to do an economic exercise on what a lack of competition does for quality then book yourself a table and find the basis of your phd thesis. Truly terrible. Calamari starter was definitely the worst we have ever had and the chicken Caesar was awful and uneaten. If you eat here you know it’s not out of choice and because your are exhibiting at the conference enter and can’t be bothered to go out… but honestly make the effort and go out or get a Deliveroo. It’s a pretty brutal but honest review based on the fact the owners are exploiting the lack of competition. Just because you can doesn’t mean you should…..

Like going back to the 90's. Not good

Pretty standard menu, choice not brilliant and the food is average. Prices are OK for a hotel but there are better eateries nearby in walking distance.

Nice, visited recently, booked a table whilst staying at the hotel. Limited menu, we all had the sirloin steak cooked medium. It was really good and good service.

Reasonable restaurant. Starter : chicken liver parfait was disappointing. No chicken no liver no fat no taste and even no salt. Quick forget. New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc from Southern Rivers is a shadow from the kiwi ones I had before. Boeuff bourginon as main dish was well prepared with all the things from original recipe. Chosen wine Solandia primitivo from of course Puglia Italy was good but fully flavoured and missed the vanilla. Olive tree you can do better!!

Ask for an omelette "with everything" at breakfast - it beats the buffet typically served up. The bar is well stocked and the local beer is passable.

Starter was described as goats cheese with pears and walnut drizzled in balsamic!!!! Reality- a piece of toast with tinned pears and a rubbery cheese, not sure if it was goats cheese... I sent it back. My main. Haddock and risotto... oh no I did not have the heart to complain- plus I was hungry.... risotto was like water. Tasted ok The bill was £Best part was the lovely staff and the bread

Restaurant deserted on a Tuesday night but apparently hotel guests attending a function nearby. Ordered gin and tonic about which I had to make choices - good start, Then went for omelette with smoked haddock Arnold Bennett and this was a grotesque parody. Egg cold and pre-cooked, haddock just smeared on the top, rating zero points. At least they provided FOC a substitute starter of fried mussels with garlic and cream sauce. At least the mussels were warm and fresh though the sauce could have been used to clean silver. Better but not much. The main course was slow cooked pork belly with a pork cheek pithivier, (pie in Shropshire), gravy, mashed potatoes and some kale. Everything was edible if seriously lacking in any wow factor, Definitely a restaurant to miss after this experience which is disappointing to record for an IHG hotel

Delicious food, fantastic service, and they are spot on for allergies/dietary requirements. Our hotel stay is made even more enjoyable due to this restaurant :)

Usually try and avoid hotel-based restaurants as usually overpriced and much of a muchness. In Telford Holiday Inn on a business trip and not wanting to drive out to find somewhere to eat, had a look at the restaurant on site. Looked more up market than usual hotel restaurants so decided to give it a go. Failed at the first course! Squid with vegetables and focaccia bread - luke warm plate and food too, with no focaccia in sight. They decided to ask the chef about it and in the meantime I had to ask them to take the plate and keep it warm while I waited. Waitress then said they were preparing a fresh one. Nice to hear. Main course - pork belly mash and veg. OK except the main event was missing - the crackling. I bet there are a group of staff out the back moonlighting on pork scratchings! Oh, almost forgot. No one asked if I wanted water at the table, which when I raised it was apparently their policy - wait until asked for it!
