My partner and I walked in, it was a very quiet night. Georgina, Jordan and Joel (the manager, and 2 of the waiting staff) saw myself and my partner stood at the door - not one of them came over or gave any sign to indicate that they would be over soon. After we had been seated, took Joel a good 5 minutes to ask us what drinks we’d like, at which point we were also ready to order our starter and mains too. Our drinks too that long to come, i had actually forgotten for a second that we even order any - about 2 minutes later our starter followed. In my opinion our drinks should not have taken so long to arrive, that our starter also arrived. We had a sharing portion of Potato Skins, they were not the best. Edible but not great. Our mains weren’t much better, i ordered the Fridays Glazed Burger, and my partner had the Chicken Quesadillas, my partner asked for a takeaways box so he could take home what he had not eaten, which the waiter told us that there were none, meaning we had to leave half a meal behind to be wasted. We also did not get a check back on the starter or the mains. This was disappointing. Bill came to £70 which i don’t think was worth it. Expensive prices but poor service and average food.

Booked a table at TGI’s for New Years Eve, it was a total disaster. We went in at our booked time and we were very surprised to see it very quiet. We were ignored at the front of the restaurant, took ages to get seated. We ordered drinks and food. Waiter came back and said that 2 of the 3 drinks weren’t available also 2 of the meals. We all changed our orders but when my husbands wine was served it was disgusting, cost £10 but was undrinkable. By this point we had enough and decided to leave. I went to see the manager but she wasn’t that bothered. Lovely waiter followed us out and was very apologetic but it was too late. Thank you TGI’s for ruining our New Years Eve.

Lively atmosphere but we were surprised to discover the 2 for 1 cocktails requires you to order 2 of the same, which were served to us all at once, meaning half of them had warmed up by the time we were ready for them. That on top of the lack of ingredients and very rude bar staff who expected payment before we had even had our drinks. As if he was trying to push us to drink up and leave.

Cold, dry, expensive food. Really disappointed as TGI's alway used to be pretty good. Restaurant was empty, yet the service was really slow. When it did arrive the food was overcooked, cold and dry.

I feel bad writing this poor review as the waiter who dealt with us did seem genuinely sorry for the errors. However here I go :- upon arrival we waited ages to be seen and shown to a table, even though I caught the eye of several members of staff. Other people arrived after us and it wasn’t until there were so many people waiting that no one could get in or out of the door that someone finally came to seat us (and the other parties). We ordered and waited and waited and waited. Eventually I asked the waiter what had happened to our food, he checked and said he had been put out but missed so had gone cold. They redid it and it finally arrived and admittedly they discounted the bill because of the inconvenience. But the experience actually spoiled what had until then been a very nice day out for us. The food wasn’t brilliant either, just okay.

First time eating here for a meal out with the family. We were seated in a corner and had our drinks order taken reasonably quickly whilst we had our heads in the menu. Was asked for full fat or diet coke, after ordering full fat heard the waitress say ok there's no refills as she scuttled away, ok our mistake.The drinks were dropped off, nearly literally by a different server it was noticeable that they were all warm, my youngest had a dirty glass for his drink. No bother we'd ask for it to be changed once they took our order.25 minutes later I had to grab the person from front of the restaurant as no one had been near us. She apologised and took our order and I told her about my son's glass. I ordered the ribs and had some difficulty in ordering the side which said 'choice of side' which apparently meant fries.15 minutes went by and my son's drink hadn't been changedThen the original waitress turned up and tried to correct the orders as there were some additional details needed. I told her about my son's drink and they went off to change it.After a reasonable time the food turned up but we had to send my ribs and my son's chicken tenders along with my wife's fries back as they were cold.They brought some fries out so we had something to eat whilst my other son and wife eat their burger. When my ribs turned up they were hot, but we're quite frankly disgusting, at that point (close on 2 hours) I had given up and was starving with a film to catch. I couldn't finish them they were that bad even covering them in their sauce, they tasted like they'd been microwaved and I am currently sat up in the middle of the night feeling sick.I will add that they gave us a discount off the food due to their mistakes, which was appreciated, but sadly we were unable to look past the quite awful service and appalling food, sad really.

Came here for a birthday, extremely slow service- over two hours and half hours for a starter and main. Food was overall average with very dry chicken burgers and small portions. Staff apologised saying they where understaffed for the two large groups in but still found the overall service to be lacking, drinks forgotten, taking over 30 mins for the birthday cake to come out and the bill. Won't be coming back any time soon

Me and my colleague entered the restaurant to get some dinner after a trade show. We had to wait a few minutes before someone would greet us at the door. Even after seating we waited around 10mins and no one came to take our order. So we got up and left, as we were leaving we could see all the staff standing in one corner.
Great service from the waitress Jordan, my mum is disabled and she made sure to put us somewhere safe and accessible. She was very polite and smiley and made coming to TGI this evening a great experience. Thank you ?Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible and wheelchair/disability friendly

Service was poor and really slow. Food was dry and tasteless. Only good thing was the chicken strip starters. So overpriced too. Only put 3 stars for atmosphere because most people in the restaurant were people from our company but other than that it wasn’t great. Such a shame. Music was good though.

I can’t knock the service she did a good job with what she had .Cleanliness: knifes , forks and glasses were dirty .The main problem was the food1. It was very expensive, which I don’t mind if what you are getting is good . This wasn’t good .2. The food had no taste just bland .3. Things missing off the plate . Ribs cost £20 and all you got was half a rack of ribs chips and a tiny half burnt corn on a cob.4. I asked for the festive burger , when it came out it was just a chicken burger with nothing else on it nothing ! Plus the chicken was tiny . I sent it back swopped it for the ribs which were disappointing also.5. Non of the food came out with dips.I’ve had better two for one pub meals .

Came here for a family birthday but was seriously let down with the service. There seemed to be more than adequate staff available but it still seemed to take a long time for our drinks to arrive and then for the food order to be taken, not ideal when you have young kids at your party. We also never got asked again if we wanted anymore drinks. Fortunately the food was good and correct, but you obviously pay a premium at this restaurant. It's a shame the service did not match the food!
