Good food but can’t say it’s the happiest of places to go for a chippy. Staff don’t seem like they wanna be there. Ideal location though.

Went on a Weds night. Very quiet with spave inside and out. Staff friendly. Food was reasonably good.Overall the atmosphere was a little lacking, but on a different day with more people it may be different.

Had the Southern fried chicken box 2 weeks ago, never again, only when I got to the inner meat did I realise that it wasn't cooked properly, blood around the bone, next day I couldn't keep off the toilet.

Inside the toilets are awful the last visit they were filthy and a tap fell off the sink when my 7 year old went to use it. This time we got a takeaway and it was horrible the chips tasted strange the oil was strange tasting too it was like clean oil thrown onto old oil or into fryers that haven't been cleaned. This used to a top place to go to when it was newcott but since being prees it's gone dreadfully down hill. My stomach hurts and my son has now refused to eat here. He only had chicken nuggets and chips but he said the chicken tasted funny. I've told him not to eat them and they didn't taste strange. Definitely not going here again! Absolutely vile food!!!!

Best chippy around, even better if you only get charged once for your meal. Trainee on the till charged me twice for one meal, only noticed on my till receipt when I got home, should have looked earlier. Bit miffed, cos 5 of us go here every week.

Good stop off place for when you're looking for a chippy! The small fish & chips was more than enough and excellent value at under £4.00.Large clean dining area inside is cool enough during hot weather. But if you want sun there is a decked area at the front, large but needs a bit of a tidy.

It's a good chippy and always worth a stop.The staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly.Very popular with locals so can get busy fast but the turn over for being served is about 10 minutes, and always freshly cooked.

Haddock was nice and fresh, the batter was not like you would expect from a fish and chip shop not awful but not the best. Chips were ok. The premises were very clean and tidy.
