Wild Shropshire Restaurant

Excellent restaurant. Small, personal experience where all the ingredients are (mostly) sourced locally. No menu, we were served 17 courses of all sorts of flavours and tasty treats. Defo recommend trying Wild Shropshire.

Bulls Head

Lovely welcoming pub on our visit to Whitchurch. Friendly ladies served us and even advised where to go the next day to watch The Lions Test! Good beer in a comfortable environment. Thank you! ☺️

Everything about our lunch here was first class, staff/service & quality of food n' drink were all excellent- highly recommend this to anyone thinking of visiting. 10/10

Joli spanish coffee shop

Popped in while passing through and had an awesome experience. The café offers a great variety of food, and the staff were absolutely amazing. They noticed my son was wearing a birthday badge and went out of their way to make him feel special—treating him like a king and even surprising him with a free pudding decorated with “Happy Birthday” written in chocolate. Such a thoughtful touch! Highly recommend.

Wheatsheaf Hotel Whitchurch

Fabulous friendly pub, really nice owners, It was spotless everywhere. Beautiful food, great bar staff, nice lady served the hot and lovely breakfast, great quality linen on the very comfortable bed. I stayed last month and also last year. Great location too. No doubt will visit again. Thanks for the welcome

The English breakfast was fabulous, exquisite cooking of the eggs and the bacon was perfect. Service was brilliant, the young lady with the glasses served us well. Cheap meals for an amazing taste. ?

Gardiner's Fish & Chips

came all the way from new zealand for gary’s fish and chips and it was worth it!! fish and chips were beautiful and service was amazing, will definitely be coming back!! :)

Docket No.33

Absolutely amazing experience tonight at Docket. The service was outstanding, very friendly and knowledgeable about the food. Talking of the food, just wow…. It was fantastic, some of the best food I have ever tasted. How lucky are we to have this fabulous restaurant on our doorstep. Will definitely be back. Thank you to the whole team for giving us such a treat.

The Horse and Jockey

Food was amazing. Went as a large group. Family gathering about once a month and this was in the middle. It's a great location with fantastic parking.

We had veggie and vegans in the group which were both very well catered for. Wide selection of drinks. There is a log burner. It's a cosy pub with a very country feeling. Staff were very friendly and helpful they didn't rush us but always came to check in for drinks or food.

We will be planning all our future get togethers here.

Dusty Miller

We have visited the Cheshire boutique barns several times, they are beautiful hence why we visit so often, the dusty miller is a 10 minute walk from the barns , as soon as we walked into the dusty miller, I said to my husband this has most definitely got new management, it was welcoming and really clean , we were served by a really nice attentive young lady and nothing was too much trouble, she was so smiley and happy, then we sat in the outside area and the young handy man was really chatty he brought us an umbrella and water for our dog , he was painting the outside tables and was very obliging and again nothing was too much trouble , the food is absolutely delicious and most definitely home made, so much so that I had lasagne for the 3 times we visited, I’m sure that the dusty miller will be a real success with the new team , and you could tell they really are a team , this is most definitely a must to sample the menu, I also had sherry trifle which again was home made and the best also pricing is really good definitely value for money!

Lockside Cafe

We drove past, not noticing this Cafe. Dont be decieved by the 'frontage'.
It was an enjoyable lunch, food was really tasty. Staff really friendly. We sent another couple from our party over shortly afterwards, who equally enjoyed the Kedgeree.

Alfresco cafe

Passing by Whitchurch on the way south, we made a short divert, and dropped in for a light lunch. As others have said, this is a 5* spot. A small local business serving fresh food, that is well-prepared and tasty. Excellent value for money, in a pretty location. Thanks team!

Benjamin's Deli & Cafe

My wife and I have visited Benjamin's on numerous occasions for tea and homemade cake ,today we decided to sample the pannie menu, severved with a fresh salad ,it was excellent.
But as well as the wonderful food and drinks. We were looked after by the lovely staff, who ever owne's this business is so fortunate to have such a fantastic team.

Fiona's Coffee Shop

My wife and I booked a table for today, as my Mum loves local cafes with good food. Asked for a proper afternoon tea and the owner and staff didn't disappoint!

The food was amazing and they couldn't do enough for us. My Mum even said it was the best afternoon tea ever..

Other customers were chatting with us, as we tucked into sandwiches, amazing homemade cakes and enormous but light and tasty scones with jam and cream.

We even took a doggy bag home.

Would highly recommend. ?

Thank you so much today for looking after our family as we stayed to watch The Lions Test in a welcoming and very friendly little pub!
We checked the day before to see if the match would be on and they confirmed it would! We were there just before 11am through to 1pm. The locals welcomed us too. When we’re up this way again on our holidays we’ll be calling in again for a welcome pint of Wainwrights! Thank you! ☺️

Popped in today to have some lunch with partner and baby, well designed with enough room for pram as well, service was top notch food priced about expected, only real complaint would be to many herbs on panini, a little would be fine but the amount on would've completely overpowered a great panini, so I wiped most off and that worked fine but that is me being picky as everything else was greatKid-friendliness: Enough room comfortable for a single baby pram with rook by tables for baby to be

The White Bear

Came to Whitchurch as the halfway point to meet with friends, and chose the White Bear based on the menu having one of the broadest choice of vegetarian / vegan dishes I've seen. Good call - all the dishes were imaginative and tasty, and the service was great as well. Dog-friendly too. Thankyou!

Got a manchester tart and a mini pork pie here, both lovely, though I recommend eating the manchester tarts fast as I let mine warm up too much and it fell apart in my hands when I tried to eat it!! Clearly fresh which is great. Tasted good too. Will get another

Drove into Whitchurch never been b4 had a little walk around looking for somewhere for lunch when we came across this little gem had a fantastic lunch warm welcome off the young lady behind the bar.

New Golden Chef

Ordered from here when staying at a local touring park. Collected the food and it was amazing. Would highly recommend. Crispy Shredded Chicken in Chilli Sauce is one of the best I've tasted. Will 100% be returning.

Visited last Sunday for a meal, served by a great waitress, Libby, who attended our table promptly and made our party feel most welcome, great staff throughout, will certainly visit again.

Swallow

As a visitor to the area I fancied a takeaway and I wasn’t disappointed, the prawns were lovely, the rice excellent and the satay skewers were tasty. My only disappointment was the prawn toast which although plentiful (8 pieces) was a little low on prawns, better than some but nowhere near as good as the rest of the food. The portions in general were excellent and the price reasonable for Chinese food these days, i’d definitely return. The staff members I dealt with were all excellent as well, very friendly and helpful.

Alderford Kitchen

First time here yesterday, having to home school the step-son, what better way than getting out in the open and doing some swimming in a lake and a bit of football. Water was relatively warm, cheaper to swim here than Nantwich outdoor pool during the week. Will defo come again and try all activities.

Snapper Fish & Chips

Called in just a minute or two after they would have closed… it could have been disastrous but the owners turned the fryers back on for our order. Just a few minutes and we had some wonderful tasty fresh chips. 10/10 on customer service 10/10 on the chips as well. This place needs visits more often! Very impressed at the cleanliness inside the chippy and there is free parking outside what more could you want.

4 stars for excellent tasty pizzas, 1 star for £5 delivery charge, zero stars for card payment to food hub.com last 2 times i was overcharged, they seem to add extra on the card to the correct amount. Will only use them again if i can pay cash on delivery.
