Wild Shropshire Restaurant

This was from last November. The food that James produced was outstanding! Along with Jo the sommelier and the wine pairings it made this visit incredible. What makes it more interesting is that you haven't got a clue what's going to be on the menu!

Pretty much our go to place to celebrate special occasions, most definitely our most favourite restaurant on the planet. Every course is a mouthful of wonder and paired beautifully with wine, and really friendly happy service.

Wheatsheaf Hotel Whitchurch

Visited at midday for lunch. Four adults, two children aged 5 months and three years. Welcomed immediately, shown to a table then looked after for the whole visit in a friendly, polite and professional manner. Food was great. Well done, keep it up. We'll be

Gardiner's Fish & Chips

came all the way from new zealand for gary’s fish and chips and it was worth it!! fish and chips were beautiful and service was amazing, will definitely be coming back!! :)

Old Eagles

This is a review of the Bulls Head, despite the fact that that it is called the Old Eagles at the top of the page. We ate here on a cold January evening. The staff were really friendly and the music was fantastic 80s and 90s , but the star was the food. We had veggie lasagne, home made and really delicious, followed by sticky toffee pudding. If you are looking for good honest food at reasonable prices, I strongly recommend you try here!

Bulls Head

Lovely food, prompt service, busy lunchtime atmosphere. Children's menu available, we all enjoyed our meals.Parking: Limited parking ?️ besides the pub. Would advise parking at Tesco's carpark as it's only a short walk and free. Please check time limit for free parking.Kid-friendliness: Children's menu on main menu. Highchairs available upon request. Benjamin's Deli & Cafe

My partner and I popped in for breakfast, it was a spur of the moment decision so we hadn’t pre-booked (I don’t know if they take bookings?). Nevertheless we were guided to a delightful table in the window, where we could watch the world go by and not actually have to talk to each other. The staff were absolutely wonderful and so attentive. The lovely lady serving us introduced us a DELICIOUS gooseberry jam - OH MY WORD - WOW!! The coffee was delicious, my partner is very selective when it comes to food and drink as it’s his area of expertise but he was happy with the coffee (a huge statement!) and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We’ll definitely be returning.

The Swan

Had a 10/10 meal at the Swan, food was beautifully cooked just as my preference and the whole family had a wonderful meal. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly and attentive, would definitely recommend

Joli spanish coffee shop

Highly recommend this place, had breakfast in there and decided to treat myself with bubble waffle after ? cosy atmosphere, food was great. Definitely I will come back.

Fiona's Coffee Shop

Always the first choice when asked ' where are we going for breakfast'. Staff are always friendly and it's great to support a small local business. Great selection of food. Lovely THICK bacon and locally sourced ingredients.I have never had a disappointing meal here as my eggs are always cooked how I asked - it's surprising how many places serve a breakfast with egg yolks oozing everywhere even after asking specifically for the opposite - thank you!

Jones Coffee House

Always a lovely place to visit for a small selection of great food and delicious drinks. They have a fire place by the door way offering warmth and atmosphere it's a great place to be on those drizzly

Drove into Whitchurch never been b4 had a little walk around looking for somewhere for lunch when we came across this little gem had a fantastic lunch warm welcome off the young lady behind the bar.

The Red Cow

Best pub ever nettie behind bar lovely knew all her customers. Jenna landlord was very welcoming ? and Bob janet was also very great company made our visit really special we laughed out loud thanks so much for hospitality we will definitely be back see you soon you soon ladies from Manchester Mary and Sharon

Alfresco cafe

Wonderful small cafe built by local people. A lovely team of taylor and dawn davies providing delicious food they even helped me travel to sainsburys to do some shopping :)

The Horse and Jockey

Clean, friendly atmosphere. The food was good, extremely tasty; we had Sunday lunch. The plate was bountiful but well proportioned.Highly recommend, also book in advance for Sunday's.

The White Bear

Came to Whitchurch as the halfway point to meet with friends, and chose the White Bear based on the menu having one of the broadest choice of vegetarian / vegan dishes I've seen. Good call - all the dishes were imaginative and tasty, and the service was great as well. Dog-friendly too. Thankyou!

Dusty Miller

Can’t recommend this place enough! Great choice of food and drinks and the food was to die for, even the kids loved it! Complements to the chef, his team and the lovely front of house staff too. We will be back very soon!

Sainsbury's Café

This wouldn't be my first choice of places to eat n meet. Couldn't drink the coffee, bitter n cold. Staff are friendly but the whole place lacks atmosphere. Reminds me of a factory canteen, maybe some nice music or more comfortable seats n a cloth on the table even a plastic wipe over one would be better than nothing.Parking: Being part of Sainsbury there's plenty of parking.

New Golden Chef

One of the best Chinese takeaways I’ve had in years!!! Very reasonably priced too.Only complaint is that we ordered on the phone for collection, we were told a time to collect and we ended up stood waiting for 30 mins after that time. Luckily the food was worth the long wait.

Borders Restaurant at Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel & Spa

Good clean room, very helpful staff. Golf course a good test but greens not great. Reasonable menu and food but great service from Zoe in restaurant. Drinks expensive. But fun for overnight golf trip

Walkers

Rarely do I get to say that a place is truly great but this place is one in a million. The atmosphere in this very old building is just right ,it may have difficult stairs to climb for those of us in later years but it is worth every stair and the service & food served could not be faulted.

Swallow

Always order from swallow ,the food is best in and around whitchurch fresh,tastes good not cheap produce.Staff are always friendly place is always clean..Recommend it to everyone, you won't be disappointed,slightly higher priced but you get what you pay for 110%

Snapper Fish & Chips

My wife and me had fish and chips for our lunch from there today.We sat in the car park opposite the shop and enjoyed the best fish and chips we can remember having anywhere for a very long time. We fully recommend them to you !!

Alderford Kitchen

We went for Afternoon tea. It was AMAZING! Great selection of sandwiches with quiche, scones and cakes. So much so that we were offered a doggie box to take home what we couldn’t eat. Hayley the host was attentive and helpful, Eleanor was lovely and friendly, and James the chef created a delicious ensemble of tasty treats. Great value for money and now we are absolutely stuffed. Highly recommended. Thank you.

4 stars for excellent tasty pizzas, 1 star for £5 delivery charge, zero stars for card payment to food hub.com last 2 times i was overcharged, they seem to add extra on the card to the correct amount. Will only use them again if i can pay cash on delivery.
