First and last time here. Tasteless food.I had the chicken chat and prawn puri as I did not have enough cash as they do not accept card. Chicken chat was a poor man's version of a chicken tikka masala. If it was described as such, I would not have ordered. Poor quality defrosted chicken I am guessing was used in the chat. Prawn puri was slightly better but the puri was very greasy. The prawn puri was crammed into a small container.Worst was the service. No greetings and no smile. Normally would have asked for recommendations but not with this guy behind the counter. Best to leave him alone was my judgement. I noticed this same lack of interest from the person behind the counter when other customers came in through the door. Because you are fasting doesn't mean that you have to make the customers suffer also.Eating in the car.Ate in the car as I was passing. Having to drive with the windows open just to get rid of the bad smell.

Pre-ordered a takeaway at 16:30 for 17:45, food finally arrived at 18:45. Food tasted nice but the meat was very fatty and not as good quality as previous ordered. We won't be ordering again.

Service was ok, just a 15-20 minute wait from in-shop order. The food… what a crying shame. Onion bhajis had no crispness and were flabby throughout, almost as if pre-cooked and left to steam. Certainly not recently near hot oil so inedible. The butterfly king prawn was covered in uncooked batter, luckily the prawn was ok, had to throw the batter away as inedible. Chicken Balti was edible but only had heat no flavour of spice whatsoever, so couldn’t face it. The only success was the two small vegetable samosas and sag aloo.Sorry but never again, I don’t usually write poor reviews but neither do I like throwing my dinner away.

We’ve had about twenty takeaways from Backwell. We’ve had one naga dish which was beltingly hot, but pretty much every dish we’ve had has been tasty. We ask for a paneer jalfrezi and it really hits the spot with a good dollop of chillies in there. Delivery can be slow but means we can have an extra beer whilst we’re waiting ?

Ordered via just eat, always do. They took my delivery order and money only to get txt from just eat 10 mins later saying this takeaway can't accept the order. Not good enough you're either open or your not.
We've had several deliveries from here and I've always found the curries to be good value and some of the better ones in the area, so its a little surprising that some of the reviews are quite negative. I tend to go for the more unusual and spicier options and would definitely recommend their naga. My only criticism would be that some of the curries are a little oily, but that has been very dependent on what we've ordered.

We ordered Akbars feast from here. Popadoms were soggy / chewy and onion bhajis seemed liked they were cooked days ago, also chewy and couldn’t cut through. Both the curries that came were actually the same flavour - sickly sweet.We called to raise the complaint, however the person on the phone was extremely rude and was not ready to acknowledge the issue with our food and kept saying that we have been doing this for 26 years and basically what I am saying is wrong. As an Indian, I find it difficult that this food is being served as a representation of my country’s cuisine.Not happy with the service and won’t be ordering from here again.
