Really great fish and chips shop. Huge portions, I think a large chip could feed a family of four. My husband and I both ordered large cod fish and shared a large chip, we could hardly make a dent in the chips. The fish tasted fresh and batter was delicious and really crispy. Chips were also fresh just out of the fryer. We also had a side of mushy peas (good) and a fish cake (very processed and not necessary when you’re getting fish & chips). Fresh cooked, tender cod in a nice crispy batter, and light & fluffy chips. Energy prices mean fish & chips are quite pricey these days, but this was a good execution: there’s nothing worse than parting with good money and getting dry fish or chewy chips. None of that here and will happily return.
