I booked a twin room for myself and my sister to share as we were in the area visiting family. We were welcomed by the owner in to a beautiful reception hall and shown the guest areas downstairs before being shown to the bedroom we would be sleeping in. We had our wedding at Banwell castle at the start of August, luckily the British Summer weather held out for us and we had a fantastic day, and Banwell castle was the star of the show. It was a beautiful wedding venue. This really is a family favourite. It’s a quiet yet stunning setting. Yes it’s a little run down in places but the cream teas are great value and you get to enjoy them whilst gazing over the stunning countryside with peacocks for company. Weekend only openings or so I believe, so check with Bill in advance.
