Salt&Vinegar
19A, BanwellWould definitely recommend ordering from here! Portion sizes are huge and we got extra sausages! Plenty of salt and vinegar, nothing was stingy in the slightest. Some more veggie options on the menu would also be perfect!

Chillies Bangladeshi & Indian Restaurant
26 Church St, Banwell“The tastiest, diary-free chicken korma I’ve ever had in my life” says my girlfriend. “Wow, just wow” says me. You won’t regret it. Unless you get the garlic cheese naan… then you’ll regret not knowing this existed earlier in your life.

Banwell Castle
Castle Hill, BanwellI booked a twin room for myself and my sister to share as we were in the area visiting family. We were welcomed by the owner in to a beautiful reception hall and shown the guest areas downstairs before being shown to the bedroom we would be sleeping in. The house is beautiful, lots of period features, the twin room we stayed in had a gorgeous claw-foot bath that took no time at all to fill with piping hot water. The beds, although squeaky, were super-comfortable and the room soon got cosy and warm with the heating on. We had a really restful night's sleep. Morning brought lovely views over the estate as the sun came up and the owner graciously accommodated our early breakfast needs with a full cooked breakfast that was absolutely delicious. I can't believe that I have been visiting Banwell and the surrounding areas for the last 15 years or so and only discovered that the castle has a bed and breakfast this last month! I'll be staying here from now on though! Rates are more than reasonable and if you have a bit of a penchant for real period features, the castle is a perfect place to stay.
