I went with two friends, all three of us have done a lot of business in Japan. This was a very authentic izikiya (pub). The food was delicious: very different to most Japanese (or āJapaneseā!) places - no sushi or sashimi fit example. But all the better for that The drink selection is very impressive. Wow! What can I say?!? Truly a fantastic experience. The staff are absolutely exceptional, the location and feel is amazing and the foodā¦. Oh myā¦.!!! I genuinely canāt stop thinking about the flavours and quality of food. If it wasnāt for the fact that I live a little over five hours away I think I would absolutely be a regular. I cannot wait until my next visit to Bath to come again. This place deserves to be a major success!

Lovely quiet ish sake bar on pulteney bridge. Staff clearly very passionate about their food and drink, sake flight was amazing. We loved one of the sakes so much we bought a bottle, we would have never gone for that type/flavour if we hadnāt tried it on the flight. The pickled shiitakes are amazing, so fresh and crunchy. I almost wanted some bread to go with them.
