The new menu is fantastic (the lemon sole was amazing) and has good variety.\\n\\nThe service was attentive and knowledgeable.\\n\\nMy brother has also recently stayed in the Seymour’s rooms when he visited Blagdon. They are clean and beautifully presented. Fab breakfasts too.\\n\\nOverall, highly recommended and a great base to explore the Mendips!

My sister & I came to Blagdon for a family wedding on 21st Sept. We travelled down to Blagdon on Wed 20th & were recommended by the wedding venue to try the Seymour Arms just a five minute drive from the wedding venue for dinner . We had a totally delicious meal - Main course of a tender ribeye steak , follewed by a mandarin orange tart with meltingly crisp pastry & with tangy orange filling. We tried a lovely local wine from a vineyard also in Blagdon. Their à la carte menu is reasonably priced in line with the quality of the food. This area is truly blessed to have such wonderful local delights as the Seymour Arms & local wines to compliment their fabulous food. The service was professional & friendly but not intrusive - perfect. If l lived in Bristol or Bath or surrounding area I would be dining there very frequently.

Can’t comment on the room but I was given a tour by James after enquiring. Great looking pub, pints were perfect, outside area is well kept. I look forward to coming back for live music and an overnight soon

Really comfortable place to stay for a short break. Everyone we met was friendly & helpful. If you’re visiting the Mendip Hills, or Fernhill Farm this is a good location.Rooms: Cosy rooms with comfy beds (no bedside light for reading or they would have got 5* for the room).

Hi JamesI would just like to say what a wonderful stay with had with you at The Seymour Arms (06/05/2023).Everything was fabulous.Rooms were perfect and spotlessly clean, spacious and beds so comfortable.Just what we needed after our long drive from Liverpool.We were also made welcome in the bar for the evening, including my young Nephews who with their family were staying in number 4 cottage next to the pub.Our continental breakfast went down a treat and set us up for the day ahead at our wedding in Coombe Lodge.Could you pass on our regards to all staff who looked after us during our stay.Highly recommendedJoanne xXx ?
