The New Inn Blagdon
Park Ln, Blagdon, BristolLovely quaint pub with the most stunning view over Blagdon lake.Good, hearty food and a nice pint of Guinness to swill it down.Décor was just down at heel enough to make you feel comfortable with a complete lack of pretentiousness, whilst still being perfectly pleasant.Nice friendly staff.A really enjoyable lunch. Would love to visit again in the summer to sit out and enjoy that view!

The Seymour Arms
Bath Rd, Blagdon, BristolMy sister & I came to Blagdon for a family wedding on 21st Sept. We travelled down to Blagdon on Wed 20th & were recommended by the wedding venue to try the Seymour Arms just a five minute drive from the wedding venue for dinner . We had a totally delicious meal - Main course of a tender ribeye steak , follewed by a mandarin orange tart with meltingly crisp pastry & with tangy orange filling. We tried a lovely local wine from a vineyard also in Blagdon. Their à la carte menu is reasonably priced in line with the quality of the food. This area is truly blessed to have such wonderful local delights as the Seymour Arms & local wines to compliment their fabulous food. The service was professional & friendly but not intrusive - perfect. If l lived in Bristol or Bath or surrounding area I would be dining there very frequently.
