The staffs are very friendly. But the food are fine for us. We ordered the lamb which is very tasty and the meat is bit tender. And the duck breast are so tender for us with just fine taste. Hope the meats cooking can be improved.

Really warm and friendly welcome, greated like old friends even it was our first time there. Great atmosphere. Really impressed with the food... and good portion size and not expensive either. Staff were attentive and friendly. Will definately be back soon.. Thanks to the staff at the Duck 10/10.. Just been for our second visit, sunday lunch. Again a warm welcome and great service. Food was plentyfull and hot !. Lovely pub, well worth the effort to go there... 10/10 again....

A group of us ended our January Sunday car run at The Duck. Wow! What a warm welcome and excellent service. The roast dinner and pudding was excellent too. We will return.

We went on a Monday lunchtime and were surprised at the amount of people eating there on a cold, grey day in January! However, the welcome we received was extremely warm and friendly. We were shown to our table which had beautiful views over the levels. The service was amazing, staff attentive and knowledgeable. There was a very warm, friendly feel to the place. The lunch menu was very comprehensive and the food was absolutely delicious, freshly cooked and beautifully presented. I will definitely be going back there.

Had Duck breast meal there last night and personally the Duck was not cooked enough. I like pink but it was bloody and difficult to cut. Service was good but the room we were in was poorly decorated for Christmas, had skittle pins and furniture and some background music would have improved the atmosphere.

Delicious food… between us we had the vegetarian lasagna and fish and chips, we couldn’t fault anything. Very friendly staff and attentive service. Food arrived promptly. We will definitely eat here again if back in the area.
