One of the best wetherspoons for food around the South west can get very busy at times but food is always first

Like all other Wetherspoons ever visited it's the creme de la creme of public houses!!Wetherspoon's curries especially are the best in the world ... delish!?And a Wspoon breakfast with a pint of stout is out of this world YUM!

This is one of the more reliable spoons around these parts for food, normally. If they do get it wrong it is quickly resolved. The only downside is whenever we call in, normally early afternoon, there is invariably a gaggle of men on a large table very close to the bar and they are extremely noisy and seem to be laughing/shouting most of the time - well lubricated I assume?

Nice pub, very good prices, food cooked well, nice old building , staff very pleasant, got no blackcurrant or lime Paddy's weekend, and the Irish bitter was off, looked like it had come straight out of the sea!!!!! What a let down, had Guinness tho,and it was nice,a bit hit and miss here, good luck!!!

A great spoons right on the seafront. Very large so plenty of space and same great menu you would expect from any spoons. Some mess on floor and tables need to be cleared away quicker but food good and great value.

Huge improvement with staff. They go above and beyond.

Food is cheap and middle to poor quality, with no care given to its presentation, or indeed its preparation, even for a Wetherspoons. I do like the salad dressing though.Serving staff are friendly and helpful on the whole, however I went in with my 27 year old niece on New Years Eve 2023/24 to have some cocktails and we were challenged at the table to produce her ID. I live 2 mins away so we could easily have got it, but the woman, a manager I think, was so rude and unfriendly, we left. My niece stays with me often and has been there lots of times with and without me and has been served alcohol. I think this woman is in the wrong industry and should work on her customer service skills.
