As budget hotels go, Battersea Travelodge is alright. It's not too far off the beat and track and it's nice to be so close to the Thames Path.As a budget stay, £40 a night is rock bottom cost, but I think you have to be honest with what you will get for that £40. The whole hotel needs cleaning and decorating, infact I would say a referb. The rooms are warm, but need so much updating and a very good top to tail clean. There is no attention to detail. Service was quick despite it being busy. Fish & chips was lovely. Eggs were a bit overcooked on the childs ham & egg and all day breakfast. Lovely pub though with a nice atmosphere.

Not the best spoons, just average. A bit expensive by spoons standard and would not do any swaps on the breakfast. This is not normal for any spoons we visit and must be down to an awkward manager as any other will. Will not be visiting
