We enjoyed our breakfast, so went back for afternoon tea. The scones are the best ever.

Nice cafe very close to the Gorge and the Caves with beautiful mountain view. There is also a small river that passes in front of it. Dogs are allowed in. The coffee was nice. The store was very clean. The prices were more than reasonable. There is a big variety of things to eat. It's totally worth your visit.

It's only a jacket potatoes but seriously the jackets in cafe gorge are the best ever.I visited with 2 friends & we all had them with various fillings but all including the best cheddar cheese in the gorge.Coleslaw is amazing, must be a secret ingredient that makes it so good & lovely local chutney to accompany the simple but fresh dressed leaves that add to the presentation. No room for pudding but couldn't resist bringing home the pear frangipane with Clotted cream & also a cheese scone. Both lush.Food, staff service & cleanliness better than anywhere else in cheddar.Well done guys, you're the best.Tracey. X

What a beautiful little cafe, stopped here twice last week with my partner. Both times were just as good as each other, coffee was lovely and the food was even better, only had a sausage roll and a steak pasty but have nothing to complain about as both were lovely. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and will definitely be stopping in again when next in cheddar.

Food was good, atmosphere was great. However, we visited Nov. 4 around 1230 and when I was waiting for the toilet I looked in the back and saw the guy drying utensils by hand cough into his towel then continued to dry forks with the towel... then he open mouth coughed while holding another fork and he was standing over all of the other utensils. Disgusting lad. Guess he was sleeping in the cave with cheddar man a few years back...

Friendly and speedy service. Food was just amazing. Grabbed extra to take home with us! The chocolate pecan pie was epic and the goats cheese quiche was fabulous!!Dog and child friendly and a great location. I dont generally leave reviews but felt compelled to do so here. Would highly recommend. ?

It’s always 10 out of 10 for service, food and atmosphere. The views are stunning. My favourite cookies never disappoint. And they love dogs! I visit nearly everyday with my pup. My children love the place too!

Found this cute little cafe with a beautiful view. It was open so we decided to stop to have a drink. The service was quick and efficient. The place is cosy and peaceful. The cakes are also good.
