Nice cafe very close to the Gorge and the Caves with beautiful mountain view. There is also a small river that passes in front of it. Dogs are allowed in. The coffee was nice. The store was very clean. The prices were more than reasonable. There is a big variety of things to eat. It's totally worth your visit.

It's only a jacket potatoes but seriously the jackets in cafe gorge are the best ever.I visited with 2 friends & we all had them with various fillings but all including the best cheddar cheese in the gorge.Coleslaw is amazing, must be a secret ingredient that makes it so good & lovely local chutney to accompany the simple but fresh dressed leaves that add to the presentation.No room for pudding but couldn't resist bringing home the pear frangipane with Clotted cream & also a...read full review

What a beautiful little cafe, stopped here twice last week with my partner. Both times were just as good as each other, coffee was lovely and the food was even better, only had a sausage roll and a steak pasty but have nothing to complain about as both were lovely. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and will definitely be stopping in again when next in cheddar.
