Lovely, reasonably priced little café. The staff are very friendly, the food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable, considering the café is just 3 minutes walking distance from the entrance to the main cave. We had the soup of the day with the cheddar toastie and it was mouthwatering. Highly recommended!

Excellent tea room on the main route through Cheddar Gorge. Very good menu for any time of the day with plenty of gluten free options. We had the cream teas, one gf, both excellent. Very friendly staff who told us they get very busy from Easter onwards so try off peak if you can. They also have outdoor seating and a take away counter. Well worth a visit. Excellent atmosphere surrounded by local memories and antiques. Highly recommended.

Cute place, good location, staff were nice, but hands down the worst scones I have ever had. They were like stale bread rolls. Such a shame as I have been in the past and remembered the stones being really nice then.

Holly House Tea room is lovely Afternoon tea is lovely , fruit or cheddar cheese which ever you prefer both are very yummy , even our dog was allowed inside which is lovely we even went back a few days later for lunch which was lovely sandwiches were very yummy ? , service was very quick & the ladies are very friendly , The ladies even gave our dog some treats which he loved Harry the border collie ?? says Thank you

We popped in here for coffee as it was recommended but this place served probably the worst coffee I have ever tasted, I ordered a long black but it had absolutely no taste at all, I complained and the owner made me another but that was just as bad. I will never go back there any and would strongly advise everyone to try elsewhere.This was when we visited in June this year and still stand by my review, I never forget really awful coffee

Stopped for something for lunch after visiting the caves. Service was very swift and friendly.The food was amazing, incredibly tasty and very well presented.Even when I asked for a box/bag to take the rest of my cheese home it was no bother and it was very quickly given a container.Would happily visit again if in the area

Such a lovely and quaint little tea room in Cheddar.The service is excellent, and the staff and owner were very friendly.The cream tea with warm scones was lovely, with freshly made local scones, and a good selection of jams available. There's a good selection of other foods on the menu including fresh pasties.We'll definitely be back when we're next in the area.
