“Very good. Well set up for wheelchair access. The disabled parking bays are sensibly located and ramps and access to the cafe and the disabled loo all work well. Coffee good too!”

“We booked at short notice for Christmas Day Lunch, after plans had to change to accomodate elderly relatives in different locations. Kerry (the Manager) was extremely helpful on the phone and with follow-up e-mails. We received a warm welcome on arrival, and food was bought out promptly. Staff were helpful and festive, and very kind towards my elderly father-in-law who has dementia. Comparing the cost with other Christmas Day providers and the service we received, we felt it was very good value for money.”

“It was ok. Food was ok, our order got really muddled and we waited ages. My pancakes were absolutely not freshly prepared seemed shop bought, but the bacon was lovely.”
“Excellent pub ,great music and lovely staff, a big ups for Joe for making us feel welcome and dogs welcome Excellent.”
“It's rather nice to be back here after so long (I last visited during my sixth form years, so to speak). Excellent food and drink, reasonable prices, quiet atmosphere. Perhaps I will come again, who can say? Bear in mind that car parking around the area is hard to come by, so you may have to account for that!”

“We heard a rumour about this cafe... and my gosh did it surpass every expectation we could have imagined! Amazing service and the best home made cafe food! Plenty of inside and outside seating and dog friendly! We will be coming back when we’re in the area again!”
“Had a tasty cod, chips and peas dinner at the Naval Volunteer Inn, Seavington St Michael on Saturday. I think it was both cooked and served by the landlady who was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed a new beer (to me): a galss of Tornado from The Windy Brewing Company”
