Buzzing atmosphere and good quality food but slghtly expensive for what it is. We had to wait a long time for our drinks, even though our food came quickly. Also a horrible smell around the toilets - possibly some sort of sewer issue.

Used to like it here until they tried to poison me today with a regular sandwich when a gluten free was ordered and reiterated multiple times to the lady who took the order. She even checked it with the kitchen twice and still managed to not put it on the ticket! Have had to rush home to be near a toilet and take my medication but she has probably ruined my month now with my reactions to Wheat! Incompetence could badly affect someone if they are not careful!Dietary restrictions: Could have accommodated it if wasn’t for incompetence

Really slow service! Poor organisation. Its such a shame. If the service I was good the place would be great... but it isn't.

We live locally. Looked online and thought it looked great. So we gave it a go one Thursday. Big disappointment. Staff didnt know anything.when we enquired about any specials on the slightly grumpy server asked the chef who told her "some sort of quiche ". Brilliant. We went for bbq chicken burgers. It arrived on a wooden chopping board. These arent 'quaint' or 'rustic' in my opinion and Im of the belief these are unhygenic. It was also too small so i couldnt cut anything up or use it as I would a plate. My partners burger oozed out over his board dripping fatty juice onto his lap! When ordering I hadnt realised my chicken burger would come covered in shredded pork? Which was stone cold, gelatinous fatty bits covered in a bbq sauce. I dismantled the burger to removed it all after my oral relexes ejected a blob. The fries arrived rock hard and stone cold. (Im not surprised as I could see them from our table, sat on the side for 10 minutes). It wasnt that busy and we were one of the first to order lunch. The onion rings were too overdone to even get a knife or fork into to cut. The colslaw was cheap shop bought. The bun was soaked in juice from the topping so a wet pappy mess, imposible to pick up to eat as a burger. It all tasted a bit of off fat. I had 1/4 of a slice of tomato in mine with a few leaves and masses of bbq sauce ( which was not very nice). All in all I thought it noisy. Disorganised. And not up to my expectations. Will not go again.
