Pubs in Langport

“Nice little pub. Good food. Local Cider - Harry's. Menu is on a blackboard, suggesting it changes. Vegan/Veggie menu on separate, portable, blackboard - 6 choices, no risotto in sight ?. Three dog friendly tables in dining room, so no feelings of being a social leper. Small car park and ber garden.Vegetarian options: Good choice, and not the usual pub offerings”

“Great place in a picturesque Somerset village. We had a delicious and authentic Udon noodle dish with tofu & egg, wonderful flavours. Asha and her team looked after us very well and we’ll most definitely be back!”

“Had a bite to eat whilst staying in Pitney for a few days in August. Simple but good quality and reasonably priced food backed up by an excellent choice of ales. The bar staff were friendly and helpful and the decor is traditional and rustic. Highly recommended.”

“We decided to go cycling to Glastonbury and over the levels so chose The Old Pound Inn to park our campervan for a night. We couldn't have made a better choice. We were made very welcome indeed. After a 50 miles ride we needed a good meal and the food was excellent not to mention the beer. The atmosphere was really good and we were attended to by some of the friendliest, most helpful staff we've encountered. Stay or visit here and you won't be disappointed.”

“Found this one when I was on the business trip. My dining experience at The Drayton crown was truly exceptional. From the moment we entered, the welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff made us feel right at home. The menu offered a delightful array of dishes, each expertly crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The room is good enough for 1 person, well it is not 3 or 4 stars so it is acceptable . The beer is also good, and they have a sausage dog as an employee. Highly recommended!””

“One thing that I always check when eating out is whether the plate is hot. It wasn't, which meant the food went cold quite quickly.Considering the price of the roast, which is fairly high when looking at around the area, I thought it was fairly average and disappointing. Certainly seemed like frozen roast potatoes. Pleasant staff but the atmosphere was a little stale sadly.”
