Good honest home cooked grub which is good value for money,Friendly landlady and friendly chatty customer. We were the only two eating but the food was still good with friendly service. I would recommend.Parking: Some parking around the back of the pub or on the road opposite.
Stopped off for a pint whilst out for a walk. Beer was good and the staff and customers friendly. From what I could see, the food also looked good, although I did not have time to try it. A traditional pub that makes a great place to stop, have a pint and get out of the sun!

We visited the Rose and Crown on Sunday. There were 6 in our party with 2 big dogs!! The landlady was very friendly and helpful.The food was good honest pub grub, it was hot, tasty and delicious.
