I've always liked Costa as a brand. It does exactly what it says on the proverbial tin. The staff here are friendly and I've visited with a friend twice in the last week. And now we have Omicron. So, a disappointment was the absence of up-front notices encouraging patrons to wear masks upon entry, staff not wearing masks; one, a male, who walked around the patrons' area without one and the same chap shut the main door during my first visit "because it was cold". Nice atmosphere but I don't like Costa coffee itself, especially their lattes which, for some strange reason they tend to offer in tall glasses which I've never understood. There are other cafes that are preferable imo

I came in the other day as a regular and the staff member who served me remembered my order..skinny caramel cortado..they're polite, helpful and provide good costa service, the area could do with more larger retailers in the high street.Kid-friendliness: I have 3 children, one with autism, staff here are really good talking to them.
