“Weirfest at the bottom ship, porlock weir 2022. Brilliant weekend, great beer and usual great selection of music. Roll on 2023!”

“Came here for evening meal, great selection of pub food, ales n wines. We had chicken curry, rice n chips, oxtail n stilton pie with chips and spag bol with garlic bread. All 3 meals were delicious, washed down with a Romanian white wine, excellent.”

“Great pub, great food and great facilities for children to play. However, when we were there a couple of weeks back the amount of foul language coming from the tables used by smokers in the play area was unacceptable. It may be an idea to ask the smokers to use a different area where the children can’t hear foul and abusive conversations taking place”

“We had a really lovely meal here last week. Vegan pie was delicious and our son enjoyed his burger. Then chocolate fudge cake and chocolate brownie to finish. Heaven! Such friendly staff and nice family atmosphere.”

“Now a shop selling all sorts of food and drink - sandwiches, soft and alcoholic drinks, crisps, sweets etc. They sell the most amazing thick shakes, I had mint and chocolate flavour, it was the nicest I’ve ever had! Friendly staff too.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible to wheelchairs”
