The rooms a lovely and clean. The facilities are good. Its close to the centre of town and everything is a few minutes walk from the front door. The options of drinks and food were great and the included breakfast was awesome. The downside to the experience was another resident screaming his head off at another patron that he was going to kill him and using choice language to express his anger. This went on for 30 minutes at 5am. I reported this to staff in the morning, They were like ... yeah we know the guy, he has a condition and an order on him. I was literally going to have to phone the police when it calmed down. Put a bit of a damper on the stay.

Rooms ok, would have liked to eat there in the evening but no food available, breakfast however was really good, full cooked and cereals etc. USB connections would be useful.
We decided to stay at the Stones hotel due to its proximity to the beach and good reviews. Sadly when we arrived there was nowhere to park, so we had to park on the streets and drag our bags to the hotel. The ‘hotel’ which is definitely more of a noisy pub, has many narrow stairways (not easy to navigate with a suitcase). The room was very tired. There was black mould on the bathroom ceiling and nothing felt clean. The staff were VERY unfriendly and the cooked breakfast took ~30 mins to come. The cooked breakfast was nice, but there is more to running a hotel than breakfast alone. This hotel is overpriced! For a noisy pub I would expect to pay £80 a night tops. Not worth the money.
