Great Sunday lunch, went there with family and we all were impressed with the Sunday roast, generous portions and very good quality. I recommend a visit.

They have done out the pub very well, nice atmosphere and although cramped (it always has been) they have laid it out well.I had a trip of Butchers sausages ,&. Mash but my sausages were notcwhatcIvwoukd call proper sized butchers sausages and looked as if they had been cooked on a charcoal grill as they were black on the outside and semi pink inside. My neighbour had a meat pie which also was scorched on the lid. It has to be said most people seemed to enjoy their food, but not an experience to repeat for me

Great Sunday roasts too be had. Selection of up to 6 different meats. Lots of veg and ample sized gravy jug.Dessert was a gorgeous chocolate sponge covered in chocolate sauce and a side of ice cream (you have options for cream, custard or ice cream)

Was recommended to us by the lovely people at Midsummer Quilters, and I can see why. Staff were friendly and welcoming, there was a great atmosphere, and the Sunday Roast was awesome. You had a choice of up to 6 meats! I actually had the nut roast, and it is one of the best I've ever had. Plenty of gravy, loads of tasty veg and fluffy yorkshires. Would recomed to all.

Found this gem of a place on Google we were staying not far from the pub and wanted to find something different. Lovely little pub tucked back off the road , I made the mistake of not booking thinking it would be quite on a Tues but I was wrong and when I sampled the food I wasn't surprised. The staff were lovely and welcoming and we managed to get the last table. The Christmas decorations were lovely and festive and the Christmas tree was incredible. We both ordered the pie with mash and gravy it was delicious and plenty of it. Would highly recommend this lovely homley welcoming little gem. Will definitely be back when in the area.

Marvellous food and a great choice of drinks. Lovely service and amazing Christmas decorations!Consistently great service each time we go there. The kids love the food too! Desserts are ?? delicious! Well worth it and always looked after by the staff there.Vegetarian options: I am not a vegetarian but I love a veggie burger ( I always add cheese with it) very yummy and the fries are the absolute best!Dietary restrictions: Ask the staff and they will make sure your needs are met. The landlord has a dietary need so he understands how important this is!Parking: Plenty of parking at the front and back of the pub.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly.
