The Somerset Wagon

Great Sunday roasts too be had. Selection of up to 6 different meats. Lots of veg and ample sized gravy jug.Dessert was a gorgeous chocolate sponge covered in chocolate sauce and a side of ice cream (you have options for cream, custard or ice cream)

The Fromeway

We had a lovely stay at The Fromeway it’s such a nice relaxing room a wonderful king size bed and the best shower I’ve ever come across plus a hearty full breakfast.We were made to feel very welcome.It is pet friendly too which is a bonus so I highly recommend this hotel unfortunately we were there on a Monday and Tuesday so we couldn’t access the bar which was a shame but maybe next time we are visiting this lovely part of the world.

This place is my favourite.Brilliant quality every single timeCan’t resist the Steak.And the cheesecake is unbelievable!!!Go hereI guarantee you won’t be disappointed

The Litton

We stopped at The Litton as a party of 22 and four children, the place is beautiful and all the staff was absolutely amazing and made our stay outstanding, nothing was too much trouble and they made sure everything was sorted and organised. The food was very nice. Would highly recommend staying and eating here.

Soyful's Kitchen

I was staying in Shepton Mallet and in desperate need of a decent meal on a Sunday night and Soyful and his team including Rohit seriously delivered.The food was outstanding! Delicious delicate flavours, beautifully presented and their service and friendly reception was a delight. We entered strangers and left friends.I’m not local unfortunately but I’ll be coming back there when I’m next in the area for sureHighly recommend

We had a wonderful time, the food was absolutely amazing and plentiful, so much so that I asked for a doggie bag to take home. We did love the fact that we were made feel so welcome by all the owners/staff chatting to us and we will be back asap!

Athena

An original Greek restaurant driven by a friendly and passionate Greek cook. Food was not only delicious but also generous. The service was lovely and very caring. We look forward to experience this special moment again. Efcharisto! ???

Jolliffe Arms

A nice local pub. The staff are really nice. There is a nice, friendly atmosphere. The beer is under £4 a pint and always very nice. The food is well priced and pretty tasty. I had the large steak and ale pie. It was more like an oggy. It was massive and only £12. We like coming here for an end of week cstchup with a large cheesy chips and pint.

The Riverbank

Amazing (inexpensive) breakfast with lots of extras us veggies don’t usually get. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Wish we were coming back for Sunday lunch too! Cute Easter display in pic.

The Kings Head

Very welcoming, friendly local pub with an absolutely top notch landlord with great chat. Apparently the breakfasts, served on Saturdays only, are fantastic too - not tried them yet but sounds like you get a heck of a lot for £7.50 so you can’t go wrong really. Very much enjoyed this pub tonight and will be back within the next couple of weeks for the Saturday breakfast! Great great place!

The Waggon & Horses

The Waggon and Horses is the pub to go to. Food is amazing. Mid week roast and Sunday roast delightful. Very filling and tasteful.Kenny is very attentive, polite, helpful to list a few . He is a great asset to the owners John and Wendy. Thank you

The Chip Inn

Absolutely banging! The chips are to die for and the saveloys, chicken poppers and fish cake simply perfect! Special mention for the lovely young lady behind the counter, very polite and professional.

Dragon Wok

Everything on the menu is sensational! Slowly working my way through every dish and am blown away each time by how good the food is. To top it all off the prices are excellent for the quality and quantity given. No other takeaways come close to the value for money! Cash only payments, but there's a free ATM at the Shell garage directly opposite.
