I just wanted to say what a lovely time we had on Easter Sunday. It was a late booking for the whole family, but the staff went above and beyond to fit us all in. The food and all the staff were amazing. Highly recommend - thank you so much.

Best lamb roast we've had in ages. Great service and atmosphere too. Decorated with taste and has a beautiful back garden, with a lovely little playground for kids. A little gem.

Visited this pub as just staying not far away not impressed the chicken wing starter just tasted of powder at nearly £10 for 4 wings should of been better, then had fish platter for 2 fish was nice but stack of bread & nothing to dip it in for the price was disappointing for us not worth the price & £12 for glass of wine expensive was only £12.50 in the ivy we went to next day for a pub very high price on leaving was asked by a member of staff was everything ok & we said no then they just walked away poor customer service wouldn’t return

Lovely, welcoming staff. Happy for you to just come and have a drink unlike another local pub . Great food and atmosphere. Good but unpretentious menu. Ham, egg and chips best I have had. Great for locals and visitors. May have to move to Pilton to be within walking distance! Well done guys ?Kid-friendliness: Lovely for families and four legged friends. Can’t wait to be in the lovely garden in the summer

Totally unexpected. The gluten free fried haddock in batter is outstanding. Well worth the visit.

Mum said let's stop in for some gluten free fish and chips which obviously I thought would be a travesty as gluten free anything is always an exercise in good will and steely mouths. The evening ended up being tricky for me as I had a tough time leaving due to so much egg on my face. The food was absolutely, hands down, the best gluten-free fayre I've had anywhere, which I know is mental but it's BLOODY WELL TRUE. Walked in and the staff were such a delight, the place was packed with friendly faces, the dining room was clean as a whistle and yes, the food totally exceptional. I joked too many times with the staff that I thought they were poisoning us with the fake GF food, so much so I alienated myself from the crew and mum told me off. Anyway, social destruction aside it was truly wonderful and I can't wait to go back in disguise.
