This is definetly the most laid back and alternative place in Wells, ring considered alternative myself and having tried most of the other pubs in town this one is definetly my favourite.Bar staff and customers friendly, drinks are cheap and the jukebox had all sorts of music in ranging from hard rock all the way through to reggae and oldies.
Lovely bar. With a good selection of beers, spirits and cocktails. My wine was served in a really nice glass. And a fellow customer was enjoying a pimms with all the trimmings. A Courtyard garden.. which will look super in the evening with the garden lights that were being installed. Manager was welcoming and friendly. Visited on a quiet Tuesday afternoon but can see very popular in the evenings and weekends.

Under new management. The place is clean & tidy. Serves a good selection of real ales, lagers, wines, spirits. Plenty of TVs for Sports. Good music. Pool tables aplenty and a nice big beer garden.
