What a wonderful little pub this is. We didn’t book for food but after a lovely pint of Exmoor gold we decided to order food. I ordered the fish pie and my partner had ham egg and chips. Both were excellent and very generous portions. Ham was butcher quality and eggs had orange coloured yolks coming from happy hens. My fish pie was one of the best I’ve had. Mike and Pauline are a lovely couple and made us feel extremely welcome. 4 pints and two main courses for £45.00 can’t go wrong. We will certainly be back soon!

Welcoming pub. Visited on a hot Saturday. Served a very good Guinness. We liked the baguettes and chips. Recommend this pub.

Lovely home cooked meals! Very good value for money, a proper pub meal.
If packet Yorkshire Puddings hard like bullets, overcooked soggy tasteless veg, and sitting in a freezing cold dining room you have to wear a coat are your thing, you're coming to the right place!

Its not as good as it used to be. No staff. A little bit run down now, but I will say the food was lovely and generous helpings.

Popped in on the way back to my Aunts in Heath House. Lovely Landlord. Traditional public house. Felt really relaxed, chatting with the other customers, didn’t have any food on this visit, but other customers highly rated the meals.
A lovely country pub.
