What a great place. I came in as a cyclist and was immediately offered to have my drinks bottles filled. I ordered a couple of drinks (soft) and was told that I didn't need to do that for the water! I pointed out that it was the cold drinks that were my first goal and that the open welcome meant I stayed for a few more?
Dropped in here for lunch having booked. Very quiet but we were well looked after and the menu of good pub grub was well cooked and presented. Mike the owner was cheerful and conversational. I would visit again if in the area.

Popped in on the way back to my Aunts in Heath House. Lovely Landlord. Traditional public house. Felt really relaxed, chatting with the other customers, didn’t have any food on this visit, but other customers highly rated the meals.
