We have just returned from an overnight stay. We were greeted with smiles and happiness from the staff. The hotel was wonderfully warm throughout on a cold, wet day in November. We were checked in quickly and taken to our room. Room 4. A medium double, roll top bath, underfloor heating, large soft white fluffy towels, really nice Bramley toiletries, bamboo toothbrush/toothpaste, beautiful king sized bed, crisp, super white soft bedlinen, dog friendly and spacious. A great find only an hour. We had lunch in the bar area but there is also a dining room. Good range on the menu, particularly the Dhal. Lovely fish too. We will book again and perhaps stay a night!

Visited The Swan for lunch today, it was a lovely experience as usual. We had the the excellent burger and fish and chips both meals were delicious. Lovely friendly staff, comfortable surroundings and delicious food. So lucky to be able to pop in to The Swan regularly for coffee.
