Staff are always very helpful.The carvery is very nice and worth the money.Parking: Although you have to pay for your parking, you get the cost of your parking ticket taken off your final bill.Just hand your ticket over when you pay.Wheelchair accessibility: Good wheelchair friendly access. There is a path which leads up to doors, there is a disabled toilet. Also if on a Sunday one of the staff will help you get your vegetables and gravy and sauces and returns your meal to the table.

Had to wait a fairly long time to be seated for a pre booked table. Pub wasn’t even busy at the time. Told at our table that we had to go to the bar to order a cocktail. So we did just that. To be told at the bar they aren’t making cocktails as only one bar staff member available. As stated it wasn’t even busy. So basically they couldn’t be bothered to make a simple cocktail. Food was bland and small portions. Table was sticky too. Won’t be coming back here. Parking is a joke. Machine is very slow too.

Very easy to use app for ordering. Drinks and meals arrived quickly. Very pleased with food and excellent service from serving staff. Very good and varied

Service was good, food was average but just acceptable. What overshadowed the whole visit was the parking issue. Can understand why charging is needed as close to the local station but the ticket machine wasn't working so we were forced to load up an app on our phone that we didn't want, with details we didn't want to disclose and in the cold and wet. It took 10 minutes and the whole thing was the subject of lunch. Very disappointing, will not be back or recommend to others. To add, we actually witnessed customers turning away because of the parking issue. Too difficult for many especially older people. We did get our fee returned but not the fee for using the app.

never been before but a great find. lovely and quirky building ,great atmosphere and the food was amazing . good portion sizes and friendly staff.got abit warm upstairs for some of my party with the heating on hot but i was comfortable. the car park machine wasn’t working but they were aware so i just hope i don’t get a ticket.would definitely recommend to anyone and looking forward to being able to visit again someday.
