The carvery meal was delicious and the staff very accommodating. The restaurant and toilet facilities are clean and pleasant. Queuing at the car park ticket machine is not ideal in bad weather, but I understand why it is there. Looking forward to our next meal there.Parking: Parking meter ticket redeemed at the bar when purchasing drink or food.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible to ground floor. Upper floor accessed by ramp where there is also an accessible toilet.

The ambience in the pub is laid back and there was a lot of seating space around the time we visited (early November). The service is quick and the food is generally good.Only complaint I have is my jam sponge pudding dessert. I got something like a rock bun instead of a spongey moist cake: not a great way to end a meal.
